To Start Your Day…

Psalm.63 :1 God, You are my God;Early will I seek You;My soul thirsts for You;My flesh longs for YouIn a dry and thirsty landWhere there is no water

Time spent in Gods presence is time well spent, time well invested. As you start off this new day, be intentional, be purposeful about spending time with the lord. Seek him before anything else. Our prayer life needs to be a stable one. The Bible is clear in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing.

If we don’t feel that thirst for him and for his presence, tell him in prayer. Ask him to help you draw closer to him. Confess everything to him in prayer, he knows it all, but he wants to hear it from you.

1 Chronicles 16:11 Look to the Lord and his strength;seek his face always.

Throughout the day, while doing the dishes, the laundry, while you’re sitting in traffic or while you are at your work desk, pray without ceasing. Maybe It’s out-loud or it could be you praying in your heart, but know that the Lord listens.

Worship, meditate in his word, and you will be able to overcome anything that my rise up against you.

Have a blessed day!
