Today, right now we live in a space of constant movement. Whether you’re a hard working mother or father providing for your family, stay at home parent raising the children, even a young adult trying to get your life together. All kinds of things going through your mind 24/7, how are we going to…? Oh we need… I wish I would’ve done it… where are we going to…? Suddenly you find yourself exhausted, but you simply have to keep pushing.
In these moments is where we trust/lean on the Lord “Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.” Psalm 37
One thing I’ve learned, in order for me to preserve I must stand even when I don’t find reason to, even when I do not understand. Once life starts to keep us busy, we tend to put our spiritual life on standby, this is a reminder today to not disrupt your relationship with Him (God) who gives you the strength to keep going.
How can I fuel myself? Praying, reading His word. Not once in a while, not only when I need him but at all times! Literally every single day. Make a habit out of speaking to Him and Him speaking to you. Kingdom of God does not only rule at “church” once or twice a week but daily in out lives!
His word exhorts us “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 As a previous post told us, we are only pilgrims here, foreigners. Our desires should be put on God whom gives us the strength. Seek first his kingdom, all things shall be added. The how to’s and the when’s will be provided on the Lord.
”…thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Psalm 23:5 May our cup overflow, when we physically burn out there’s still my spiritual self that is strengthened, physically tired but mentally and spiritually fueled.
Help us Lord, to live by your word to fuel ourselves with the things from above. Create in us a righteous mind, help us walk, live, breathe in your truth. May we continue to preserve, to stand in the face of adversary. You are a faithful God, who never abandons his children, bless those who are reading, may your presence cover them, give them the wisdom and will power that they need. “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Blessings!
