Our World Revolved Around God

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬ ‭‬‬

Today’s confidence: The Goodness Of God 

At times, we take for granted God’s goodness. As redundant as this may sound, we are truly blessed. You might not be where you want to be, but you’re standing. So many things have happened and are happening in today’s world. So many cruel decisions are being made, so much hurt, and anger, but if there’s one thing the psalmist assures us is that we will see the goodness of God here on earth! The goodness of God is such a deep concept that is hard to explain unless you’ve actually experienced it. 

“How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31‬:‭19‬ ‭

How great, and abundant are the good things that he has STORED. When I read this verse I comprehend that there are so many blessings I have not seen just yet! Stored meaning, it is there for me, the good things that God has for us he has accumulated for the future. Keyword, for those who fear him and take refuge in him. It is important to understand as his children, we already have so much more than what we can ask for even if we haven’t seen it yet. 

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭8‬

The goodness of God simply needs to be experienced by oneself. Taste and see the Lord is good, this is an assurance, once you try him you WILL see his goodness. If you’re in need of a faithful friend, or even just a reminder of his love Jesus is available and can listen right at this instant. Always remember to remain in God’s love and his goodness and mercy will follow you until the end of your days! 

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭
