Waiting On The Lord

In this new year let’s set ourselves up for greater things; for the good things the Lord has stored for us.

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;” Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When we hope in the Lord we are waiting on him. One must admit this is one of the hardest things to do but at the same time it is one of the best things to do. When we learn to wait in the Lord it signifies that we are completely dependent of our creator. We understand that the Lord has it all under control.

How can waiting on Lord be difficult? Well imagine in a moment of despair, when you’re in need of a miracle, in need of a breakthrough, in need of something to happen in your favor and the Lord’s answer is to wait on him. From this I’ve learned to have peace in the midst of the storm, in my mind when the Lord tells me to wait something bigger and better is coming.

“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬
‭‭

There is good news when we wait on the Lord. One thing I love about the Lord is that all things happen at the right time which is God’s time. Has it ever occurred you were half an inch away of giving up, or from losing it all but the Lord came right on time? That right there is our saving grace.

As that saying says good things come to those who wait. Let us be patient in the Lord this new year, that if things don’t go as we planned we have the certainty that it was not the right time.

When things are not going the way you imagined just remember to wait on him.
