“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free” Ephesians 6:7-8.
This week we will begin with gratitude through the confession of our lips, through the posture of our hearts, through our minds, and with a good deed. This week we will challenge ourselves to be a blessing for a neighbor, a family member, a friend, a homeless and etc. Whether your good deed is material or spiritual is trivial. No matter how meager the act/quantity may be.
The verse above instructs us to serve wholeheartedly as if we were serving the Lord. It is simply a pleasure and an honor to be able to bless someone through a good deed.
This week we declare that because of this act and because of our heart’s posture; blessings will come through. Our good deed will cause a door to open in our favor. We declare we’ll receive the provision that we need for ourselves and for the person in mind.
We will continue to spread the gospel through love and thanksgiving. And remember as the scripture tells us in the book of Matthew… “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” Matthew 10:8.
Blessings!
