Looking at the book of Luke chapter 8 we’ll find ourselves a woman with a crippling sickness. For 12 years of her life she was subject to bleeding, no amount of doctors or medication could heal this woman.
Until one day everything changed! Jesus was passing by her area and she took a leap of faith. I can only imagine her telling herself, if Jesus who just raised a dead girl surely he’ll be able to heal me. Her act of faith caused something to happen in her favor.
“She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.” Luke 8:44
This is to a light a fire under anyone unbelief today, this event that truly happened for this woman can happen for anyone! Although Jesus is not physically here, but His spirit is in us and also with us. Our father that is in heaven is powerful and mighty and hears the cries of his faithful ones.
It’s about faith; in order to make the mountain in front of you move you must truly believe in your heart and mind. Doubt makes us inconsistent and unsuccessful. “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” James 1:6
Today we’d like to insist upon those who are really struggling right now to call out to Jesus who is available to listen. We’d like to encourage you to not give up. To not give in, to not throw in the towel but to activate your faith.
Sometimes we don’t see results because the words that come out of our mouths are the ones stopping our blessings. Today is the day to believe that we shall see the glory of of God here on earth.
“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Mathew 17:20
Blessings!
