John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Today and every day we thank God for his great love. The great sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the Cross of Calvary thousands of years ago. He willingly laid his life down for all humanity. That we may enjoy eternal life.
John 10:18
18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
He came to earth with this purpose. Took our place in that cross. Paid our ransom. So we could enter into a relationship with the Father. His sacrifice made it all possible.
He came in human form. He felt every strike, slap, whipped. He felt it all, but he suffered it all so that you and I wouldn’t have to live in darkness and condemnation.
Philippians 2:6-8
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
He died, but on the third day he was resurrected, and he sits beside the Father, in all power and authority and glory. Jesus came and made the way now. Humanity only has to choose him, and choose to follow the path he opened for us.
