“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.””
Acts 4:12
There is power in the name of Jesus! Oh how I love declaring his name over my life and my family. See the mighty name of Jesus is like no other, why?
Because as stated above His name gives us life: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
His name is power: “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13
His name makes us new: “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11
His names cast out the darkness: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; …” Mark 16:17
His name brings healing: “By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.” Acts 4:30
This is not fable or fairytales, simply the truth for us as children of God. In no shape or form shall we live in defeat for we have the mighty one on our side. Sometimes we don’t know which direction to go or what to say next in a situation but one person who is indispensable is JESUS! Call out his name until you receive clarity. Call out the name of Jesus until that is all you can do.
The Lord has given us the power “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 He gave us power over our enemies, power over our situations, power to conquer in the name of Jesus! Do not stay down, do not give up, as I’ve heard many times where our own strength ends that’s where the Lord’s begin.
I ask the Lord; may he continue to help us in this journey, may it be our nature to call upon the name of Jesus at all times. May we understand the power we have in our mouths, the power you have given us as your children. Forgive us for ever taking this for granted or not believing in your name. Thank you God for making us heirs and co-heirs with Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Blessings!
