“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10
Today the word of God reminds us of his unconditional love. Throughout our week, let’s remember to say grace and give thanks in the face of any scenario we could find ourselves.
Although things may get shaky, might hear some rumbles throughout our week let’s remember that no matter how we feel, the love of God reaches us. No mountain, no hill, no obstacle can stop, or hinder God’s love. No circumstance can change his mind about us. The people of Isreal failed God many times but His compassion was never moved or compromised.
God, I pray for a week of compassion for ourselves and others. May we remember your covenant and remember that you chose us, that we are your children and we should walk accordingly. Help us to walk on your word. May we continue to cleanse our walk with it and let your love overflow in us! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
