A Greater Purpose

This week: if you find yourself running this race (the gospel, the path in Christ) and suddenly distracted by this world or by circumstances, or jumbling thoughts in your mind, remember there is a greater purpose.

The word of God gives us a point to keep us walking …

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Remember we are His children, we were called for a greater purpose. In the course of this week let’s meditate in our calling, and if you’re not sure just yet what that might be, ask the Lord whom will answer accordingly. At His perfect timing. When we are waiting I like to think of it as we are marinating; for instance when you season your meat and leave it marinating for hours in order for the flavors to really seep into it andd have the best taste, in that way we need to sit and wait to see the best results.

“Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind].”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭AMP‬‬

He that is greater is in us. This week a pray for answers and transition. May any negative thoughts that were trying to stop the greater purpose in us be canceled in the name of Jesus! May this word echo in us and over our week, that when we want to stop or pause we can remember the greater purpose in us. Thank you Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Blessings!
