Travel …. ?

Holiday is around the corner and we’re getting ready to travel! Not too far away, not to close either. One of the greatest hassles is getting ready.

Traveling as a family is always fun. Aside from leaving our norm and day to day routine, we get to explore and decompress a little. Before all the fun happens there’s the getting ready…

What are some things that you do prior to prepare?

For me, making a list works. There are so many things to consider, mainly for the children. I start with the essentials, I can miss out or forget other things that I might want but surely the essentials is a must. This includes packing clothes, hygiene products, and something I hadn’t consider until recently is an emergency kit! (With bandaid, alcohol wipes, gauze, etc…)

There’s also prep for on the road like snacks, drinks, entertainment. Sometimes, toddlers tend to get bored of the same thing after some time so having multiple options is a must. Is it ideal to prep days before? Sure! But if you’re anything like me I tend to prep the night before.

First things first is always putting ourselves in the Lord’s hands. The word of God tells us in the book of Proverbs in all of our ways to acknowledge God and he will lead the way. “In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:6

Being prepared is always a good way to assure a better time. Being prepared gives us a sense of peace and organization that is needed in some aspect when traveling with family or else everything will just be all over the place.

We hope for many fun moments and happy time for all those who are reading.

Blessings!
