“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8
It is better to follow Christ, the mystery about this is that He loved us first. It is the fact that he saw mercy in us even before we were born. It is better to choose everlasting life; “The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:17 when we choose Jesus were choosing everlasting joy, peace, reign, and redemption. All things in this world will pass, even the success in the world in this world will pass. It is great to be successful here but firstly obtaining our eternal crown.
The beginning if the first verse states he is able to bless us abundantly, here’s what I Love. This path is for the brave, many battles will have to be fought but, one thing we will under any circumstance lack is God. Because he loved us first he is able to bless us abundantly. We will abound in every work, this assures me it is better to occupy myself of the Lord and all things around me will flourish.
It is better to make Christ the center. The center of our lives, our homes, our families and all things will fall into order. It is better to be led by the one who knows and created all things. That with his own words created the heavens and the earth. How much better is it to have someone by our side who is truly on our side. If anything can be taken from this is that it is better to follow Christ.
