There comes a moment in our journey where we truly can say we serve God or God is the God of our house. The verse “…But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 is not to be taken lightly. This can certainly be said by people whom Christ has been revealed to.
How has Christ been revealed in our lives? In this instance we can see if someone’s been truly transformed or touched by the power of God. The word of the God tells us “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.” Psalms 125:1 in order for one to be able to put their trust on anyone, we must know that person first. Their character of a person, our experience with them allows us to understand they are trust worthy.
Although this goes without saying, Jesus’ sacrifice says it all. He is a faithful friend whom is nothing like the humankind. We fail each other, can have fallouts but that doesn’t exist with our eternal father. When Christ is revealed in our lives in our journey there’s no such thing is a backslide, a breakup, a divorce, a fall through because Christ is always and will be always there.
When He is revealed in our lives His love is so strong and it cast out all negativity. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear,..” 1 John 4:18 NIV we can stand firm in His promise which allows us to surely spread the gospel even in our household. Yes, it is with our actions that we show Christ at home, it is with the actions of others that i saw Christ in others, i will do the same in my house.
Christ revealed in me to bring my household to Christ.
Blessings!
