My Comfort

“As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.” Isaiah‬ ‭66‬:‭13‬ ‭

Sometimes we have to be reminded of what we have within our reach, The Lord’s comfort. Having comfort brings ease and peace under all circumstances and situations. When we are overwhelmed, we know who can comfort us like no other. No matter the role we are actively executing, it is important to cling to the one and only Jesus.

Our Comfort, To Comfort Others

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

My desire is always to be able to help others surrounding me, for me, to have comfort doesn’t mean having all the answers always, but having the right attitude and mindset. Having comfort from God not only blesses our lives but also those who surround us. We only hope that while you are reading this you are reminded of the Lord’s comfort. The adversary does not want us to fully enjoy or embrace what the Lord has so freely given to us.

Finding comfort in His word is one of my favorite blessings. Psalms is one of the books of the bible I refer to when in need of some comfort. We can find the psalmist having a wave of emotions, going through trials and difficult times, and even running into some failure but only finding comfort in our Lord and Saviour.

God, my prayer today is for your comfort, let us always result to you in our time of need. Help us to be able to help others, and keep our hearts humble and I ask you to continually renew in us a right Spirit and a clean heart. Help us to trust You wholeheartedly, may we let ourselves be led by Your Spirit. Holy Spirit come in your power and grace over us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Blessings!
