“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
This week we’d like to keep in mind our peace maker. What better way to tackle our week knowing that He who overcame the world is by our side. Beginning today, we want to challenge ourselves to a week of peace and surrender. Let us remember when we are troubled to stake heart.
Even if things don’t go as planned, we can still trust He who overcame since the beginning. ““Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:55-57
Let’s celebrate our victory this week, these things belong to us His children! He gave us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, let not circumstance tell you otherwise.
Good Lord, this week is pray for peace over our circumstances. May that be a practice in all that we do, help us to lean on You our strong tower. I pray someone reading this is reminded of your overwhelming Love that is always chasing us. I pray for a blessed week. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
