John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
There is no greater love in the universe than God’s love for humanity. Love carries action, it is more than empty words; God is love’ best example. His love for us is real, He sent his only son to take your place, to take my place.
He will constantly be correcting because He loves us and wants us to be with Him, to be able to see Him one day. His correction is out of love, His correction is to strengthen us in this daily walk. That each day we may go grow closet to Him.
What true parent that loves their children would let them walk down a path that leads to death and not warn them of the consequences?
Proverbs 3:12
For whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.
Sometimes it will be difficult. It will be hard to swallow, it will make us uncomfortable, but do not reject your father‘s correction. No one knows you like Him, no one loves you like Him and he truly has your best intention. He wants to see all the good thoughts that He has for you to be fulfilled.
We need to let Him work in us and let Him guide us. To shape us and form us into the person we are meant to be.
