Enjoy the peace

“The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.” Psalm 29:11

Blessings on this wonderful night.

The word of God is speaking to us about peace; enjoying the peace.

Have you ever caught yourself in your own head all day? Thinking about all sorts of things, to do’s, bills, health, kids, and etc? It’s like thinking me, me, and me all day. I know I have many times but then comes the Holy Spirit to steer us into the right direction.

The word of God tells us in Galatians 5:16 “But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts].” As believers it is extremely important that we walk habitually as the verse says with the Holy Spirit. To be able to enjoy the peace I must have the counselor in me and with me.

When can we enjoy our peace? When we are walking in the Spirit. That doesn’t mean we are not humans with emotions and fleshly attitudes but because of that even more every day we work to purposely kill that of our old selves.

When I mention in the beginning of the mind it’s because that’s where it all begins. A certain action that causes certain thoughts, if we are filled with that impenetrable strength we will have the power to stop it.

This week I pray we can enjoy the peace the Lord has set before us. I pray for a sound mind, for a time of spiritual healing, I pray we can answer to the call of your Spirit, may we be intentional with our time. Let us bow before you, even if there are any words we personally cannot say, but be still in your presence and allow His Spirit to intercede in our behalf. I pray for a blessed week, In Jesus’ name. Amen.
