Scripture to read: Philemon 1:8-16
v16: “no longer as a slave, but as more than a slave,a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.”
Chance: Opportune or convenient moment or circumstance to do something.
We want to talk about the importance of taking advantage of the opportunities God gives us so we can reach and accomplish everything He has in store for us. Often, we have the time and don’t make the most of it. Then, as time passes and we no longer have the strength to review late. Time is very valuable, and we need to make the most of it because time that goes by is time that never comes back. Therefore, we are always making the most of it.
Through time, we realize how valuable the time we have is, and we often waste it doing things that aren’t worth it, only to say, “If I had done it before, this wouldn’t have happened.” Opportunities come and go, and we fail to achieve the goal we set for ourselves simply because we didn’t put in the necessary effort to do things. Today, God’s Church is full of people who often say that if they had had the time and strength, they would have done a better job in the Lord’s work. But that’s just another excuse for not taking advantage of the opportunities we had to do things correctly.
What prevented you from achieving the goal you set for yourself in the past? And what is preventing you from achieving that goal today that you still haven’t achieved? Sometimes we think it’s due to a lack of time, but you’ve forgiven the person who wronged you and if you still carry it in your heart. Some root of bitterness keeps you from moving forward because you still have to forgive the person who wronged you in the past.
Always something that human beings always wake up to achieve their goals is very difficult for us to do on our own, always someone is there to give us a hand when we need it most and when we get out of the emotional moments then thank God for that brother sister who helped us in those most difficult moments, that is why we should always take advantage of the opportunities that God gives us to thank those who always gave us a hand in our most difficult moments.
