Scripture to read: 2 Chronicles 20:18-22
This is considered a powerful spiritual weapon. It can help overcome fear, anxiety, and worries, and strengthen faith and trust in God. Praise is not something routine that we take to fill the time until delivering the preaching. This is a great work to express to God our gratitude, dependence, and love towards Him, apart from being one of the most powerful weapons that God has given us.
Jehoshaphat was the sixth king of the house of David. He is described as a good king. I want you to see how praise is a powerful weapon against the enemy.
2 Chronicles 20:12 O our God! Won’t you judge them? Because there is no strength in us against such a great multitude that comes against us; we don’t know what to do, and we turn our eyes to you.
It was after this prayer of dependence that the Spirit of the Lord came upon a man named Jahaziel, a prophet. They knew that two great enemies were coming against them; they went to sleep peacefully.
Acts 12:6 And when Herod was going to take him out, that same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and the guards in front of the door guarded the prison.
They went from fear to worship!
**Read 2 Chronicles 20:18-22**
The enemy tries to bring our life to make us fall, fall into disease; no matter how the enemy attacks us, we are not alone, we are not helpless, we have weapons. Pray, go to the Word, stand up, and worship; praise, and you will see how everything begins to align with heaven.
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, take up the shield of faith, so that you can extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one.
This is not a time for fear or complaints.
Acts 16:25 But at midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and sang hymns to God; and the prisoners heard them.
