Monday Mercies

“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.” Psalms 34:19

As we are beginning, we can only give glory to God. Glory to God for victory! Glory to God for hope, glory to God for strength. Glory to the Lord for His love and mercies. I would like to pause for a second on this one, the word of God says Lamentation 3:22-23 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” when we are reading this verse we can see the word mercy is used in plural. I think it’s fair to say that sometimes we see his mercies as a one time occurrence, but this bible verse clearly states there are multiple acts of compassion. His mercy did not stop at the cross, although it is the ultimate sacrifice. The sacrifice the drew us back to the Lord, a bridge to reach our creator, the sacrifice that justified us, that set us eternally free, not only for a moment.

The sacrifice that opened the doors, that gave us authority. That makes us encounter true love, this sacrifice results are of good, not evil, not torture, not punishment. His mercy did not end at the cross, but continues in our day to day. His mercies are at work at this very second. In this beautiful Monday morning we thank God for your life reader.

We are grateful for hope this year, there have been many instances of troubles throughout this year. But the Lord has delivered us from them ALL. This is our perk as you can call it, there’s not anything we are going through, went through or will go through a lone as His children. This is our strength, in our weakness.

Blessed Monday!
