Worship Sound

“Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” Psalm 100:2

Good morning, beloved reader! What a great day to be before His presence.

Has it ever occurred to you that sometimes we start our mornings with the wrong sound? I know, it sounds weird, but I don’t only mean scrolling through social media first thing, listening to and watching things that aren’t at all edifying, but also the sound from our lips. The word of God says “…for his mouth speaks from the overflow of his heart.” Luke 6:45 when we are living in His presence, the abundance of our hearts will be worship.

Worship through music…It can be very beneficial to listen to the things that can bring us closer to our Lord. When we are singing to God, we are also worshipping, so I think about it this way. If I’m cleaning and playing music, singing to God, I’m worshipping; if I’m going about my day playing music and singing, I’m worshipping. Music can be a means to bring us to worship God. My worship sound is not only on a Sunday morning through a microphone but at any given moment in any day in honor of God.

Music can shift someone’s time/day. It can give us a sense of peace and, overall, gives God the worship He deserves. On this beautiful Monday morning, we worship God with music and the sound of our lips. Our worship is deeper than what we may think.

What sound is filling your morning today?

Blessings!
