✝️ Call on Him — The God Who Answers

Jeremiah 33:3
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Devotional Thought

In a world full of noise, opinions, and endless advice, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Everywhere we turn, someone is telling us what to do, how to think, or where to go for answers. But God gives us something simple and powerful—an invitation.

He says, “Call to me.”

God is not distant. He is not unreachable. He invites us to come directly to Him. No matter what you’re facing, you don’t have to go through anyone else first—you can go straight to Him.

In your confusion, call on Him.
In your fear, call on Him.
In your uncertainty, call on Him.

Psalm 50:15
“Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

Jeremiah 29:12
“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

God is always ready to listen.

God Hears and Answers

This isn’t just encouragement—it’s a promise. When you call on God, He hears you.

1 John 5:14-15
“If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us…”

Matthew 7:7
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find…”

God responds with purpose, timing, and love. His answers may not always come the way we expect, but they are always exactly what we need.

He Reveals What We Cannot See

God doesn’t just answer—He reveals.

Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts…”

1 Corinthians 2:9-10
“What no eye has seen… these are the things God has revealed…”

There are things we cannot figure out on our own. But God sees the full picture when we only see a small part. When we call on Him, He gives wisdom, direction, and peace beyond understanding.

Return to Him First

Too often, we run everywhere else first—people, social media, or our own understanding. But our help doesn’t come from the world.

Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord
with all your heart…”

Psalm 121:1-2
“My help comes from the Lord…”

God is gently reminding us:
“Come to Me first.”

Prayer

God,
Help me to call on You first in every situation.
Teach me to trust Your voice above all others.
Reveal what I cannot see and guide my steps.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to know every answer.

Romans 10:13
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Just call on Him.

Because when you do,
He answers.
