“Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” Psalm 35:4
Adjetive: radiant
giving out or reflecting light
: vividly bright and gleaming
: glowing with love, confidence, or happiness
When we look to him (the Lord) we are radiant; referring to the meaning above we give out light. Sometimes the enemy wants to bring back past mistakes, past regrets to bring shame into our lives. To make live in a constant state of immobility, to dim the radiance the light that shines so bright that changes others around us,
Shame is a topic I see a lot taking play in today’s age as a ploy to keep God’s people from moving forward. When we feel ashamed it comes accompanied with guilt, embarrassment, hopelessness and culpability. But we must unmask the lies of the devil!
Our faces are never covered with shame…
Once we look to the Lord, we begin to walk in righteousness, shame is no more. We are shameless! There is a confidence in us that cannot be disturbed. Not doubt fits in our mind, were so full of God there is no place for the negative.
This morning I woke up with this verse in my spirit “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”” Joshua 1:9. Once we look to the Lord we are commanded to be strong, to fight against the evil thoughts, to fight against the negative feelings. To always remember no matter where we are, what state/ situation we find ourselves in the Lord is with us.
One of the many bible verses that helped me stand tall are “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here.” 2 Corinthians 5:7.
Yes, we have been renewed and continue to be renewed in spirit. The anxious thoughts, the depression thoughts, the doubtful thoughts, the worrying thoughts must cease and be reminded of the word of God. This is a reminder that we live shameless in the name of Jesus, there is no accusations of the enemy that can live up to the truth, what the Lord has already set and declared over our lives. I ask the Lord for clarity and freedom from anything that wants to hold anyone back from fulfilling their truth! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Blessings!
