She Believed 2:2 [When God Responds]

Sometimes it takes a broken place to see the power of our prayer, not because we are experiencing, but because there is a persisting faith that stays in the middle of it all. God, I am hurting, but I am believing, there’s no other way to choose but faith. One thing in Hannah’s story is that the ending does not finish in defeat but with an answered prayer.

After so many years of prayer, believing, and crying out, God answered at His perfect time. But it didn’t only end with her praying, beliving and recieving the very thing she’s deeply desire but she proceeded to give it back to him. “For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my request which I asked of Him. Therefore I have also dedicated him to the Lord; as long as he lives he is dedicated to the Lord.” And they worshiped the Lord there.” 1 Samuel 1:27-28

This kind of faith can seem crazy, it is one thing to trust God when I have nothing, hope is all i can have, but once God answers. Many people forget abiut promises made after fulfillment but not Hannah, she continued to trust Him after receiving. Not only did she believe for the blessing but she belivd the One who gave her the blessing.

That is the faith the Lord is asking of us on today’s time, one that says God i trust You in the waiting and i also trust you when i recieve! Hannah’s example teaches that having faith is not just to recieve we want but to become who the Lord is calling us to be. Today we are reminded if were still waiting to not give up, when God answers to not forget Him. The same God who was with Hannah is with us! He is faithful to complete what he started.

Blessings!
