His Presence Is Not Optional ✨🙏

“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”
— Exodus 33:15 (NKJV)

There is no greater place to be than in the presence of God.

Moses understood something many believers forget in the busyness of life — success means nothing if God is not in it. Open doors, opportunities, recognition, and worldly gain can never replace the guidance, peace, and covering that comes from walking closely with the Lord.

Our daily prayer should be:

“Lord, if Your presence is not leading me, I do not want to go.”

Because the safest place is not the easiest path — it is the path God has already approved.

The world teaches us to chase status, money, influence, and validation, but Jesus asked a sobering question:

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
— Mark 8:36 (KJV)

A true spiritual life is not built on appearances or routines alone. It is built on communion with God. His presence is not an accessory to our lives — it is a necessity.

Without His presence:

We walk without discernment.
We make decisions led by emotions.
We chase things that leave us empty.
We slowly drift from His voice.

But with His presence:

Our steps are ordered.
Our hearts remain aligned with Heaven.
We receive peace even in uncertainty.
We are strengthened to overcome temptation and darkness.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.”
— Psalm 37:23 (KJV)

God never intended for us to walk through life alone. He desires daily fellowship with His children. Every decision, every season, and every path should be surrendered before Him in prayer.

We must ask ourselves:
“Is this path God-led, or self-led?”

Because not every open door is from God.

When we remain in His presence, the Holy Spirit gives wisdom, conviction, protection, and direction. His presence keeps our hearts tender and our souls alive.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

Jesus Himself reminded us how dependent we are on Him:

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
— John 15:5 (KJV)

Today, let our hearts return to the secret place.

Not seeking God only for blessings…
But seeking Him because we understand we cannot truly live without Him.

His presence is not optional for the believer.
It is essential.

And may our cry forever remain:

“Lord, if Your presence does not go with me, do not send me.”
